The WWA-5 is capable of feeding wire at speeds up to 800 IPM. The speed of the wire feed is regulated by a mechanical dancer arm, as the pull from the feeder increases, the dereeler speed also increases to match. This prevents the need for programming and use of connectors to a PLC. A 110 volt AC power cord is provided, as well as a master shut-off switch mounted on the outside of the electrical box. Two fuses are located inside the electrical box. A 15 amp fuse for the motor, and a 1 amp fuse for the feed assist unit.
